ReSound is a new programme to support 4 young Black people in Leeds pursue careers in radio and creative industries. The programme is designed to be a full introduction to radio broadcasting, sound engineering and live event production and give the participants an insight into the range of careers available in radio and the wider music industry. ReSound is presented by us with support from Resident Advisor and over the 3 months each participant will receive:

+ £1500 each to work with us at the station, this could involve everything from helping us broadcast, working on new social media content, working on upcoming commissions, producing podcasts and more !
+ Workshops, masterclasses and 1:1 mentoring from industry professionals.
+ £1000 to design and produce their own project, this could be a podcast, photo shoot, a livestream, editorial or anything else you might want to produce.

We will be holding a Q+A session on Zoom at 2pm on Sunday 21st March. This will be an opportunity to hear us talk more about the programme and answer your questions.
